Review
I think I have to let this one soak in for a second. To say I'm shocked is an understatement. I know some people said that they were able to predict the plot twist(s), but they came out of left field for me. Once they appeared, I was like "okay, that makes sense" but in no way did I see any of them coming. (Actually, I think the first big plot twist I didn't even accept because I was like "no, Holly Jackson is throwing me for a loop right now there's no way this is true" but that's beside the point).
Overall, this book makes me want to read even more thrillers. I was captivated by the story, and I think the almost mixed-media narrative (with the back and forth between the normal storyline and Pip's production logs) was super intriguing. All the evidence coming up and the story slowly unraveling kept me engaged and wanting to keep reading.
Regarding the characters, I think the best way I can describe them is attractive. I could dedicate an entire paragraph to my love for Pip and Ravi, but I'll just say that I fell in love with both of them. Pip is the kind of person that I wish I could be, and Ravi is AGH I just want to give him a hug he's so freaking charming and THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER like come on THE WITTY BANTER and their dynamic is just immaculate. PS: I would like to be a part of Pip's family they're so cute.
